Try to get at least a little bit of exercise every day. The exercise does not need to be high impact-a brisk walk is often enough.

While caffeine can help you jump start your day, it may also be contributing to your acid reflux. Caffeine can be great for a number of things but it does tend to cause issues within your body. You may want to consider cutting down on your caffeine intake to see if that helps reduce your number of attacks. Caffeine withdrawal can be brutal but will pass and you will be able to enjoy not having to suffering though acid reflux attacks. Your body will thank you for switching to decaf.

Avoiding the main causes of acid reflux is easily managed. Your lifestyle choices are usually the main causes of acid reflux but there are some purely medical reasons for it as well. Making some lifestyle changes will help you in avoiding acid reflux attacks. Consult your doctor for help and tips.
